14.23 Replace with:

Adaptors shall not impose excessive stress on fixed socket-outlets.

Compliance is checked by the following test:

Insert the adaptor into a fixed socket-outlet complying with GB/T 2099.1, GB/T 1002, or GB/T 1003.

Each socket-outlet part shall first be engaged with the corresponding additional torque gauge (see Figure 101 and Figure 102).

Rotate the socket-outlet around a horizontal axis passing through the axis of the live contact tubes, located 8 mm (for socket-outlets of Figure 2 in GB/T 1002-2021) or 10 mm (for socket-outlets of Figure 4 in GB/T 1002-2021) behind the engagement face and parallel to this face. The additional torque required to maintain the engagement face in the vertical plane shall not exceed 0.25 N·m.
